 ACME invites you to MIR 2009, the annual italian rocketry meeting, this year on the new field in Fiorentina di Medicina near Bologna.
The meeting is open to any flyers from any country with any rocket ranging from small Estes types to big High Power rockets.
Medicina is a small village a few kilometers from Bologna. The field is very large (over 400 hectars) Flights to 1500 m and above are possible.
New for this year:
- Those who are ready to get their L1 certification, and choose to get it at MIR, will have the reload for FREE! The offer is limited to RMS 29/180 reloads. If a larger reload is needed, the balance will be paid on the field.
- ONE J350 reload is available at half price for those intending to get the L2 certification at MIR.
- Technical presentations:
- Manuel Morales will explain his electronic altimeter with dual ejection.
- AX Electronic will reveal the new WeeBee Flashing Ultimate, a beeper equipped with a powerful flashing light, which we can see in action friday night.
- Raffle during saturday dinner, with many rocketry prizes.

It will be safely stored until your arrival, and we'll bring it on the field for you. You'll have to arrange the shipment back to your country.

Night Launches and BBQ on Friday July, 17! Please let us know if you intend to participate at info@acmeitalia.org (to be sure you get your meal!) and bring a lighted rocket with you (LEDs or other means). It will be a very informal dinner, really BBQ style, and we will divide the cost of the food among the participants. We estimate to be around 10,00 Euros drinks included.
